Today we introduce a handmade Ssanghwa Tea from Yangpyeong County. Ssanghwa Tea is a tea that many people drink when they feel cold symptoms coming on or when generally feeling under the weather. It has a warming quality - which in more traditional times, was described as restoring the body’s qi (ying and yang).

This Ssanghwa tea from Yangpyeong includes nine herbal ingredients, carefully selected to promote balance and well-being:

• Peony Root (작약)
• Rehmannia root (숙지황)
• Cnidium officinale (천궁)
• Astragalus root (황기)
• Cinnamon (계피)
• Licorice root (감초)
• Jujube (대추)
• Ginger (생강)

Plus Korean Red Ginseng (홍삼), which is renowned in Korea for its various health benefits.

Note: This black edition is a stronger-tasting version of their original version. It features 80% ssanghwa extract blend, whereas the original only contains 30%.
