Vendor Description

We’ve been wanting to do a coffee from China for awhile. I’ve been sampling a ton and trying to find the perfect one that fits the Cat Nap profile. And here it is. This coffee is produced by Torch Coffee, a roaster themselves, and I ordered a bag of theirs along with the green sample I sourced so I could compare. I did a few different sample roasts, and found this one really benefits from a pretty solid medium roast. It’s a FUNKY one and going too light made it unenjoyable. But just the right side of medium and those flavors round out and become a big fruity and fun explosion of flavor that’s really incomparable to anything else. This coffee is fermented anaerobically for 30 days. To put that into perspective I don’t think I’ve ever roasted a coffee that underwent more than 120 hours, or 5 days, of controlled fermentation. So, yeah, it’s really hard to tell you what to expect here except that it’s likely going to be a brand-new experience for most folks, and that’s what I’m most excited about.
